About

On Records roots date back to 1997 and finally got reinforced in 2007 when it finally got incorporated. It was originally conceived as a platform for musical projects created by musician Jody Whitesides. What began as artist releases mushroomed into also creating production music projects for the boutique label.

On Records music, as with all of its main artist’s pursuits, straddles stylistic divisions, carving out a niche where sounds can cavort without inhibition. The label itself is twofold. On Record’s output follows a determined path: music of rock flair, pop structures, electronic means, and experimental methods, but encompassing so much more.

On Records is not about looking to the past, as one of the first labels to jump on digital distribution, it continues its tradition of releasing brand new, cutting edge music. On Records is re-positioning itself again as one of the most forward thinking boutique labels.
